These notes describe using and testing Mote. The app license for distribution through Apple is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). This page supplements product guidance; it does not replace that agreement or limit rights granted by applicable law.
Lawful recording and content rights
Only record, import, process and share content you are entitled to use, and obtain any participant consent required by applicable law. Do not use Mote to infringe privacy or intellectual property rights or for unlawful activities. You retain rights to your content; using the app does not transfer ownership of your recordings to the developer.
Check generated results
Transcripts, speaker matches and AI summaries may contain errors. Verify names, numbers, quotations and important conclusions against the original audio. Outputs are not a guarantee of an accurate record or professional advice. Independently check information used for important decisions.
Optional services
Custom AI services require your own credentials and are subject to the provider's terms, prices and privacy policy. Before authorizing transcript transmission, ensure you may provide that content to the service. Mote does not pay third-party fees on your behalf or guarantee continued third-party availability.
Beta versions and backups
TestFlight builds are for testing and may contain defects, change or expire. Testing access is not a promise of future pricing or permanent availability. Export important recordings; do not rely on a beta as your only storage. OS capabilities, device storage and model availability affect features.
Licenses, changes and contact
Applicable third-party software and model licenses remain in effect. Changes to this page update its date; app licensing rights and obligations remain governed by the applicable Apple Standard EULA. Contact the email below with usage, support or privacy questions.
